|Janet Pierce Solo Exhibit Opening Reception|
|Location:||Dare County Arts Council 300 Queen Elizabeth Ave, Manteo|
|Start Time:||6pm to 8pm|
Janet Pierce's Solo Exhibit "Moments Of Light And Color" is eclectic in subject matter, but most of the oil and acrylic paintings carry the thread of fairly bold lighting and color.
The month-long exhibit will feature Janet's impressionistic paintings that are known for lush colors with unusual viewing or vantage points.
Join us for an opening reception on Friday, February 7 from 6pm - 8pm. There will be light hors d'oeuvres, live music and libations. Reception guests will also have the opportunity to meet Janet. The reception is free and open to the public.
The show will be on display February 7-29, 2020.
Janet Groom Pierce was raised in the Tidewater area of Virginia and now resides in Southern Shores.
“Painting in itself is exciting, yet relaxing for me, especially painting on location. I love to paint: it is one of my happy places. Hopefully I convey my joy of the painting moments to you, the viewer,” says Pierce.
