Yoga in the Park
Thursday, July 16th, 2020, 7:30am to 8:30am at Whalehead Club - 100 Club Rd, Corolla, NC
******Classes are limited to 24 Yogis until further notice.
 
Join us at Whalehead in Historic Corolla Park for an All Levels, 60 minute Yoga class with Jennifer Spore. Whether you need a good long stretch after being in the car or a chance to escape the craziness, this class has just what you need. Every session includes guided meditation to re-center you, breath work to calm you and a series of seated and standing postures to make you feel like your best self.
Classes are held outside in front of Whalehead overlooking the sound on Thursday mornings at 7:30 am, June 4th – September 3rd. This is a FREE class. Please bring a yoga mat, beach towel or tapestry, plenty of water and sun protection. In the event of rain or inclement weather, classes will be canceled. Please follow the CurrituckOBXevents Facebook page for cancellations. Cancellations will be made by 7:00 AM. **Must be 13 years or older and accompanied by an adult to participate.
Please contact a Whalehead Staff Member at 252-453-9040 if you have any questions. Hours of Operation are Monday – Saturday 10AM – 4PM. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Parking is available at the restroom facility, located near the Whalehead building.
Please Note — By participating in the class, you accept the following Waiver or Liability:
“I, hereby agree that Currituck Travel & Tourism and its representatives will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries received while participating in this program above the limits covered by the insurance company.”

Musical Hoops

Musical chairs meets safe social distancing practices! Dance around to our music until it stops, and then get to the nearest hula hoop! Main Pool- Free Event.

Online Program: Dragon Hunters (All Ages)
Thursday, July 16th, 2020, 11am
Join us online and discover the meaning behind dragonflies’ bright colors, where they live and their mysterious life cycles.  While we discuss these dynamic ‘dragons’, our naturalist will join the video call straight from the field to show some of the exciting catches of the day.
