Pea Island Bird Walk -FREE- Pea Island is for the birds - literally! Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge is home to nearly 400 species of birds. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you’ll enjoy this casual stroll beside North Pond. Field guides, binoculars, sunscreen, and insect repellent are recommended. Some field guides and binoculars will be available for loan. Meet at Pea Island Visitor Center.

|The 7th Annual Rock The Cape Festival|
|Monday, May 25th, 2020, All Day Event at Hatteras Island
This year’s Rock The Cape will begin with the Island Art Show on Monday, May 25 and conclude with a sound front concert at REAL Watersports on Friday, June 5.
The sunset concert at REAL Watersports is a fundraiser for Dare County Arts Council’s programming and events on Hatteras Island. There will be multiple art-inspired happenings in Avon, Buxton and Hatteras Village between the two keystone events, including book signings, more live music, art workshops and more. This project is funded in part by the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau.
